Kingston’s HyperX division has announced the launch of its Cloud gaming headset in India. These headsets are the latest foray into the gaming headset market for Kingston, which is otherwise known for its memory products. Kingston has stated that price for the HyperX Cloud headset will be announced soon.
The headset’s main features are said to be the memory foam ear cushions, coupled with a leather-padded headband that is supposed to offer enhanced comfort and style to gamers. Their over-the-ear, closed-cup design is also designed to block out ambient noise. The ear cushions are interchangeable as well and deliver high-fidelity audio from the large 53mm drivers. Its microphone also exudes the premium feel, being made of aluminium for increased durability, and is said to be detachable for those who prefer not to use it.
HyperX worked with Swedish manufacturer QPAD to create the headset. Ann Bai, sales director of the HyperX Division, had this to say about the partnership: “This is a winning combination as QPAD is known for high-quality gaming peripherals throughout Europe.”
Kingston is one of the newer players in the increasingly competitive market of gaming peripherals and seems determined to succeed. The company has already announced these headsets as the official headset of Intel Extreme Masters, Alliance Gaming, CNB e-Sports Club, SK-Gaming and Team Liquid.
HyperX Cloud gaming headsets are compatible with PC and PS4 along with smartphones and tablets. They also come with a two-year warranty. You can find more information on the headsets here. (www.kingston.com/hyperxcloud)
